The ability to check the status of UW-IT service requests in real- time is just one improvement made possible by UW Connect, a new service management tool launched by UW-IT this summer. The tool is part of a larger effort to use service management processes and tools to make interacting with UW-IT faster, easier and more transparent. Additionally, UW-IT now offers a single point of contact for all of its help and support services (help@uw.edu and 206-221- 5000), with many of them available around-the-clock.
